Where Does the Internet Live?
I thought this article (I know its a bit old) was quite relevant to the relationship between infrastructure and technology, especially since the latter is often imagined without the former. This article traces the materiality of the internet, thereby giving it a location, a place and a tangible presence. It pokes through the cloak of invisibility, and brings out important aspects, such as materials and labour, which are often ignored.
