Continuing the tourism theme, here’s an interesting article from the Guardian on luxury development plans for a ‘haunted’ Island in Venice and local resistance…. Very Cohen 1988 meets Calvino’s Invisible Cities by the final paragraph, and (somewhat) connects readings on tourism and authenticity with those on magic and occult economies.
