The materiality of the immaterial
For this weeks assignment, I came across this interesting article in the Journal of Material Culture which links well with the themes of religion and commerce. Morgan Meyer reviews new literature (2010), which looks at the material culture of absence, or the materiality of the immaterial. If these themes interest you, I would recommend the text!
